Plume is collaborating with Goldfinch to enhance real-world asset financing by bringing a number of private credit funds on-chain.
Plume, a layer 1 modular blockchain designed for financing real-world assets, has announced that this partnership will allow institutional investors to access top private credit funds through Nest, its RWA staking platform. By teaming up with Goldfinch, a prominent player in the realm of on-chain private credit, the collaboration aims to broaden institutional-grade offerings within Plume’s ecosystem.
The partnership between Goldfinch and Plume presents an attractive opportunity for sustainable yield for Nest users, delivered via Goldfinch Prime’s range of private credit products. These offerings come from renowned alternative asset managers including Apollo, Golub, Aries, and Stellus.
These firms collectively manage over $1 trillion in assets.
Plume plans to provide yields through Goldfinch Prime, which utilizes specially designed rails to subscribe to funds that are subsequently streamed on-chain.
“This collaboration demonstrates how we can utilize Plume’s infrastructure to transform previously inaccessible investment opportunities into fully permissionless and composable assets,” commented Teddy Pornprinya, co-founder and chief business officer of Plume.
As noted by Pornprinya, this partnership is not merely about moving traditional financial products on-chain. The primary objective is to democratize access, enabling blockchain technology to convert these into valuable assets for crypto enthusiasts.
Goldfinch’s collaboration will enhance the staking offerings for Nest users by introducing institutional-grade private credit. Traditionally, these private credit funds are limited investment vehicles, but with Nest vaults, they become permissionless and liquid assets, granting investment access to any user on the Plume blockchain.
This latest partnership is part of a series of collaborations in recent months, all focused on accelerating tokenization within the alternative asset market.
In addition to partnerships with Ondo Finance, Superstate, and Music Protocol, among others, Plume recently secured a significant strategic investment from YZi Labs. Formerly known as Binance Labs and led by Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, YZi Labs announced its investment in Plume on March 17.
The layer 1 blockchain raised $20 million in a Series A funding round in December 2024, with backing from venture capital firms such as Brevan Howard Digital, Galaxy Ventures, and Haun Ventures.
