DeltaDAO, a data infrastructure firm based in Germany, has introduced a blockchain platform that aims to enhance AI and data-sharing while preserving privacy and control.
The newly launched Pontus-X, built on the Oasis Network blockchain, aspires to facilitate smoother AI and data-sharing processes throughout Europe, with more than 180 organizations already signed up, including Airbus and T-Systems.
In a recent announcement, deltaDAO revealed that attendees at Hannover Messe in Germany will have the chance to see live demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of the ecosystem. There will also be expert-led sessions covering topics such as “managed identity wallets,” “monetization of data and digital services,” and “sovereign data space ecosystems.”
“The introduction of Pontus-X on the Oasis mainnet exemplifies the potential of our privacy-focused blockchain to support secure, decentralized data environments. We are thrilled to assist deltaDAO and its collaborators in fostering industrial innovation with unparalleled confidentiality.”
Matej Janež, head of partnerships at Oasis
DeltaDAO asserts that Pontus-X meets the “urgent need for digital sovereignty in Europe” by enabling businesses to “retain control over their data assets while engaging in the digital economy.” The platform is touted for streamlining the process, as it removes “the necessity for manual bilateral negotiations and agreements,” which could accelerate digital transactions.
Operating on the Oasis blockchain, Pontus-X utilizes “smart privacy features and confidential computing capabilities” to safeguard sensitive data exchanges. Reportedly, this system allows companies to “monetize data products without the risk of unauthorized access or loss of control.”
