Frank Spiteri, the asset management lead at CoinShares, has recently departed from the cryptocurrency investment firm, as confirmed by two sources familiar with the situation.
This exit was not related to a larger downsizing at the company, which is based in Saint Helier, Jersey, and is currently looking to fill several roles, according to one insider who requested anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the information.
At the time of publication, Spiteri did not respond to a request for comment, and the company opted not to provide any statements.
With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Spiteri spent more than five years at CoinShares in London. Before joining CoinShares, he was the head of European distribution and capital markets at ETF issuer WisdomTree, as his LinkedIn profile indicates.
In February, the Stockholm-listed CoinShares announced it had one of its most successful quarters to date, with fourth-quarter revenue climbing to £48.3 million compared to £31.6 million in the prior year.
